 Appartments

Sleep In Italy

- a great apartment rental agency for all of Italy. Its actually costs less to rent one than a hotel room. Ask for Sabrina, she is great to work with
and they will let you stay for a few nights to months. Depends on how many coins you toss, you may end up years in Italy

Apartments Pluses
  • Your own little home in Rome, act like a local
  • More space for your buck, the apartments are usually larger than a hotel room
  • location sleep next to the pantheon or the trevi fountian
  • privacy no maids walking into your room = security
  • check in and check out anytime
  • come home at midnight or not at all, you don't have to wake a bellman

Hotels

When looking for hotels on your own, you want to stay in the Center of Rome (Pantheon, Spanish Steps, Trevi, Piazza Navona, Campo Di Fiori or Trastevere
When booking a room:
Ask if there is an elevator in the building and what floor your hotel room will be on (not fun dragging heavy luggage up lots of stairs)
Ask for a room that has a window facing an inner courtyard if there is one, some times the noise
on the streets can keep you awake if your a light sleeper
