around at night.. its a happening part of town!! Check out these resturants as well in that area Ye Shanghai, Crystal Jade, Kabb, Va Bene, Simply Thai and T8 they are all great

and right next door to one another.

PEOPLE 7 BAR SHANGHAI ask Shintori resturant how to enter this bar and the code..(you put your hand in a wall of cylinders to get inside)

People 7 Bar Shanghai is located next to Shintori Restaurant, with a similar minimalist, cement-y and open design concept. People 7 is often fully booked. It's got a very entertaining entryway. This chic restaurant and bar is so minimalist that first-timers have a hard time finding the entrance. Once you've figured out the puzzle of a main door, relax in the stone-grey interior and comfortable couches. Be warned, leave some extra time to figure out how to get into the bathroom. 805 Julu Road, by Fumin Road.

BARBAROSA LOUNGE

Barbarossa lounge has a Middle Eastern theme design and very decent lounge music - often a very good DJ. Barbarossa is a floating Morracan Villa in the middle of a lake, It is located behind Starbucks building in a park, near the Shanghai Art Museum. Up-upstairs has a cool, open atmosphere. Barbarossa is a sweet place for an evening drink. Not so popular weekdays.
